It can be used horizontally (1st photo) or vertically (2nd photo). The best part of this piece of hardware is the ease of application. Both components, the plate and the twist, are prong applied. Plate's overall measurement is 1-1/8" wide and 7/8" tall. Twist is 1/2" X 3/8". Shiny nickel finish.
