This is such a cool piece of hardware. It's a spring gate swivel snap hook with a built-in cord end. The ring opening is 3/4", accommodating a 3/4" or smaller loop or strap. The cord end is 13 mm, just about 1/2" in diameter, it can accommodate a 1/2" round cord or handle, or a bit larger if it has some "give," if, for example, it's fabric, fiber, vinyl or leather. It's held in place with two little screws. I use a dab of a strong fabric glue too, for added assurance. Overall measurements are 2" long and 1" wide at the widest point. Shiny nickel finish.
