These little D rings are great for so many things . The opening is 3/8", overall measurement is 1/2" X 9/16". The metal itself is 2.2 mm thick. These rings are not welded, but have a nice tight closure. But if you do need to open them you can do so with a pair of pliers (wrap the pliers in masking tape to avoid scratching the finish). Nickel finish.
