These D rings are very nice and a great, economical choice. The opening is 3/4" overall measurement is 1-1/16" x 7/8". The metal itself is 3.5 mm thick. The rounded part of these rings comes to a subtle point , giving them a slight teardrop shape. These rings are not welded, but have a nice tight closure. But if you do need to open them you can do so with a pair of pliers (wrap the pliers in masking tape to avoid scratching the finish). Antique brass finish.
